A few days ago we reported to you that jailbreak developer Comex has been working on what is believed to be the jailbreak solution for the iPad 2, and in his own words it is "almost ready". Now according to a tweet by iPhone hacker and Chronic Dev Team member Joshua Hill also known as p0sixninja, the team is still working on the iPad 2 jailbreak.

Yeah! You read the title right. Chronic Dev-Team just left this note on their official website confirming that iOS 4.3.x jailbreak on iPad 2 is only few weeks away and iOS 4.3.x jailbreak for all other iDevices using GreenPois0n RC6.2 will follow after iPad 2 jailbreak. In an interview on Vokle at MyGreatFest, iPhone hacker Joshua Hill has already confirmed that all firmwares beyond iOS 4.3 will be supported by iPad 2 jailbreak.

Chronic Dev-Team has just released GreenPois0n RC 6.1 for Windows and Mac OS X users. GreenPois0n RC 6.1 comes with Comex 'Hunnypot' iBooks fix. For those who don't know, Apple added a check in iOS 4.2.1 which blocked jailbroken iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad on iOS 4.2.1 from opening the iBooks app even if you have bought the books legitimately.

John Sibiga, who was lucky enough to get hold of Verizon iPhone 4 even before its launch date, has already jailbroken iOS 4.2.6 using GreenPois0n tool on his yet to be released CDMA Verizon iPhone 4. He further tweeted that unlocking the Verizon iPhone 4 is not possible at the moment.
