Yup! iPhone Dev-Team has just released Redsn0w 0.9.6RC15 and PwnageTool 4.3.3 for iOS 4.3.3 untethered jailbreak on all supported iDevices except iPad 2. Both PwnageTool 4.3.3 and Redsn0w 0.9.6RC15 incorporates i0n1c's untethered exploit which further uses Geohot's Limera1n exploit to inject the jailbreak. iPhone Dev-Team has also released Ultrasn0w 1.2.3 to unlock iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS old basebands on iOS 4.3.3.

According to the recent tweet by iH8sn0w, Geohot's Limera1n exploit has been patched in iPad 2. For those who don't know, Limera1n is a low-level bootrom exploit which was discovered by Geohot to jailbreak iOS 4.0/4.1 on iPhone 4/3GS, iPod Touch 4G/3G, iPad and Apple TV 2G. As it was a bootrom exploit, so it was impossible for Apple to patch it via software update.

With the launch of iPad 2, there is sheer amount of excitement and contest going on between hackers within the jailbreak community. Yeah, we know that it's little early to speculate about iPad 2 jailbreak as it hasn't even hit the stores yet but all eyes are now on one question and that is which team of hackers will jailbreak iPad 2 on iOS 4.3?

Geohot is back with a bang! Earlier we shared that Chronic Dev-Team will release GreenPois0n tool on October 10th, 2010 at 10:10:10AM. The tool will jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G and iPad only. In response to that, few moments ago an update appeared on http://www.limera1n.com/ showing an image of all iDevices (including the ones not supported by Greenpoisi0n tool) with a Limera1n symbol.

GeoHot is in the spotlight again! The jailbreak genius has posted a new post on his blog showing a jailbreaked iPhone 4 running Cydia. He already showed us the ground work he has done for jailbreaking iOS 4. GeoHot in his recent article also confirmed that limera1n and pwned4life are not his tools/softwares, these are just some arbitrary names given by bloggers to his efforts.
