Sprint has recently released an ad showing iPhone using Sprint’s 4G/WiMAX network via its Overdrive 3G/4G Hotspot mobile router. Basically sprint has introduced a mobile 4G Hotspot in the form of a mini router which serves any Wi-Fi enabled device in its coverage like iPhone/iPad. For those who don’t know, iPhone currently don’t operate on 4G networks including WiMAX and LTE, but it does have Wi-Fi, so Sprint’s Overdrive service is acting as a bridge to connect iPhone and 4G.

According to FoneHome, Namco have confirmed that they will be releasing Tekken, probably a scaled down version of Tekken 6 for iPhone in March 2010. Tekken is one of the earliest and most famous 3D arcade fighting games released in 1994. Namco have not specified that either they will be releasing classic version of Tekken or scaled down version of Tekken 6 but what they do have confirmed is that the game is in the final stages of its development. Capcom have released its much anticipated game Street Fighter IV at a Capcom Fight Club event.

Using Person Finder is pretty simple, it has a very simple and self explanatory UI, it gives two options “I’m looking for someone” and “I have information about someone”. One can either search for missing people in database and enter a new info, current stats of application say that there are around 8300 records in database.

Some good news for WiMAX users/customers! Sprint as we know is offering 4G WiMAX services in US, their WiMAX network is named as XHOM, they are offering WiMAX services via CPEs(Customer Premises Equipments) and USB devices. There are no WiMAX/4G enabled handsets available for sprint customers now, the primary reason for this is lack of WiMAX handsets in market, there are hardly any WiMAX handsets available, one reasons for manufacturers not investing in WiMAX handsets could be the absence of mobility in WiMAX networks, most WiMAX networks around the globe are offering fixed/non-mobility services. Sprint, however do offer mobility to its customers, so it badly needs WiMAX handsets. Acc to a Forbes report, Sprint is going to launch its very first WiMAX phone in the first half of this year!
