Apple iPad on Sale 3rd April in US with Pre-Orders on 12th March

Putting all rumors about iPad delay aside, Apple has finally announced that iPad is coming to US on April 3rd with pre-orders starting on March 12th. Only WiFi models will be available to US customers now, iPad 3G models would be available in late April. For countries other than US including (Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK), all iPad models will go on sale in late April.

HTC Sued By Apple Over 20 Patents

Apple has sued the Taiwan based phone giant HTC accusing its rival of violating patents related to the popular iPhone. Apple said that the rival smartphone maker has infringed on 20 patents covering aspects of the iPhone interface, user interaction and hardware. In a statement Apple CEO Steve Jobs said that his company will not all its competitors to steal patents of its inventions.

Opera 10.5 introduces new JavaScript engine known as Carakan which makes it 7 times faster than the old JavaScript engine Futhark which is being used in Opera 10.10. Moreover data compression at server end and de-compression at client end makes it more faster than other web-browsers like Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. Apple has finally started to hunt those who are behind various iPhone Jailbreak and Unlock tools by banning their Apple IDs from iTunes App Store. Sherif Hashim comes on the top of list as he was the one who found the exploit in the latest iPhone OS 3.1.3 which can unlock 05.12.01 baseband for iPhone 3GS and 3G devices. Hashim forwarded the exploit to iPhone Dev-Team and they have confirmed that it is working but have not given any ETA on when or if they are going to release a tool which is going to unlock iPhone 3.1.3 05.12.01 Baseband for iPhone 3G and 3GS. Later when Hashim tried to access App Store from his iPhone he got the following message Your iPhone ID has been disabled for security reasons.
