How to play PlayStation 1 and N64 games on iPhone and iPad?

As with most emulator applications, you will need to download ROMS in order to play PlayStation and N64 games on iPhone and iPad. Now, we will not be telling where you can get PlayStation and Nintendo 64 ROMS but with a little Google-fu, you should have no trouble finding them.

  • For N64 ROMS, you can download using Safari and play it using the emulator.
  • For PlayStation games, download them via a computer and use tools like iExplorer to transfer the downloaded games to your iPhone or iPad.

Additionally, you will also need SSH on your device in order to get root access when transferring ROMS from a PC or Mac. If you have used TaiG jailbreak for jailbreaking, you will not need to perform additional steps since you already have SSH installed. But if you have used the Pangu tool, search for ‘afc2add’ on Cydia to install SSH. To help you out, here’s a video to see how it’s all done:

Isn’t this a pretty cool jailbreak app? Both the PlayStation 1 and the Nintendo 64 have a great library of classic games so this should keep you busy for a while. Try out this emulator and let us know how you like it.
