When it comes to online payment and money transfer systems, there is no doubt that PayPal is one of the most widely used solutions. While PayPal can be used as a payment method when purchasing from the App Store, iTunes Music and iBookstore, you can’t actually use it when shopping from the Apple online store. But that changes today because the Cupertino company has just updated the online store in the United States and United Kingdom to accept PayPal.
Good news for PayPal users because you can now use your preferred online payment method when purchasing your next iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. You are no longer stuck with credit and debit cards when shopping for your iDevice from the Apple Online Store. It seems that PayPal has struck gold with this deal especially when Apple is the second largest online retailer in the U.S.
This particular deal seems to be surprising because Apple has already launched Apple Pay this year which is essentially a direct competitor to PayPal. One can assume that Apple is simply covering all its bases for the convenience of their customers. In addition, Apple is also pushing the PayPal Credit payment method. This allows the customer to pay for the item through monthly installments up to 18 months, with zero interest.
Once you are on the checkout process, just select PayPal to pay for your item using this method.
