Now that the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c have long been made available to the public, it's expected the rumor mill will now shift to the next big thing. There is an ongoing rumor that Apple is planning to release the next-gen iPad mini in the same colors as the iPhone 5s. On a related note, the gold iPad mini 2 is said to come with the TouchID feature. So how will it look like if Apple will release the iPad mini 2 with the same colors as the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c?
Master concept designer Martin Hajek is no stranger when it come to putting out excellent Apple concepts. This time, he has set his eyes on the upcoming iPad mini 2. So he asked himself this question: will Apple follow a similar S / C strategy for the iPad (mini) as it has for the iPhone 5? And just like that, he created two 3D models of the iPhone miniC and iPad miniS.
iPad Mini 2 Concepts
As per usual when concerning Hajek's work, the amount of polish and mastery is simply hard to deny. It makes me wish Apple will indeed release the iPad mini 2 in these color variations. They look highly realistic and they might as well be the real thing.
However, at this point, all we can do is hope and pray. But with the exploding popularity of the gold iPhone 5s, it is quite feasible that Apple will release a gold iPad mini 2. Or perhaps, Apple will decide that the gold color option will only be made available for high-end devices. Therefore, we could assume that Apple will release the iPad 5 in gold, while the iPad mini will come in colorful variations. But of course, that's just me speculating.
