Apple has released iOS 7.0.3 which is sort of a minor update although it did fix plenty annoying bugs and provided other improvements. So as per usual with each new firmware update, there is always this concern if the update is safe with respect to the upcoming iOS 7 jailbreak. As a golden rule, jailbreak users shouldn't update to a new firmware update so as not to risk your chances of getting the jailbreak. Fortunately, MuscleNerd of the Evad3rs team has confirmed that it is safe to update, but there's a catch.
Immediately after the release of iOS 7.0.3, MuscleNerd had warned his followers over Twitter not to update to iOS 7.0.3 until it's confirmed to be jailbreak-safe. And a some hours later, MuscleNerd has given the go signal that "7.0.3's lock screen fixes won't impact the JB".
7.0.3's lock screen fixes won't impact the JB (unless Apple's holding back here, hah! http://t.co/wI7A4BHZk2 )

However, MuscleNerd added it's fine to go to iOS 7.0.3, only if you are coming from 7.0, 7.0.1 or 7.0.2. As 7.0.3 doesn't affect the state of the future iOS 7 jailbreak and you have already lost the jailbreak when you updated to iOS 7 anyway, it should be safe to update and take advantage of the bug fixes and improvements. On the other hand, if you are still on iOS 6.x.x, then it's only logical that you don't update if you want to keep your jailbreak.
@iphonesteven If you've already lost the JB by upgrading to 7.x, then yep it's fine to go from 7.0.x to 7.0.3.

The iOS 6.1.3/6.1.4 jailbreak is already in the works, but it is still yet to be confirmed which jailbreak will be released first. So if you're on iOS 6.x.x, we suggest you stay put if you don't wish to be stuck without a jailbreak.
