Bitdefender is crap for gaming PC’s and also takes you the power over your own computer as is, you can not tell the program which “virus infected datas” not to delete. Bitdefender may be good for the average “i use my PC for facebook and downloading music/videos but have no idea how a computer works” person. But if you know what you are doing on a computer, Bitdefender is only a hug stone on your way. I still don’t get why all the tech-sites positively write about it. It sounds like one or two only used it, and the rest took their reviews and use them.Trust me, go try bitdefender as a gamer or as a tech guy, and you will see, it is not  nearly as good as all the news-sites write.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but doesn’t Bitdefender have a gamer mode that minimizes the software’s impact while gaming?
