iPhone 5C Features
Perhaps the most notable feature of the iPhone 5C is the fact that it comes in a hard polycarbonate, shell which comes in numerous color options. The colors available are green, white, blue, red, and yellow. To complement the colorful shells, you can also buy colorful form fitting cases which cost $29.
The iPhone 5S has the same exact internals as the iPhone 5. Just like last year's flagship model, the iPhone 5C is packed with the same A6 chip, which is twice as powerful the previous iPhone 4S. This will obviously come in handy when launching apps and playing games on iOS 7. As for the battery life, it pretty much has the same longevity as the iPhone 5 with 8 hours of 3G talk time, 8 hours of 3G browsing, 10 hours of LTE and Wi-Fi browsing, 10 hours of video playback, and 40 hours of audio playback.
The 4-inch Retina display, now the standard across the iPhone lineup, is also the same exact display found in the iPhone 5 and iPod touch 5. You'll get to enjoy viewing videos at 1136 x 640 pixel resolution and in 16:9 widescreen format. The Retina display fuse multitouch sensors to the surface, so images displayed are sharper and more lifelike.
The iPhone 5C comes equipped with an iSight camera with 8-megapixel sensor, f/2.4 aperture, backside illumination, a hybrid IR filter, and a five-element lens. In conjunction with the A6 processor, the iPhone 5C can take pictures of up to 3264 x 2248 pixels. The iPhone 5C also brings into the table some high-end camera features such as dynamic low light capabilities, precision lens alignment and a sapphire crystal lens. The FaceTime Camera can take 1.2-megapixel photos with a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels.
