As you may know, Apple is set to roll out iOS 7, its completely revamped mobile operating system, to the general public. After going through six beta versions to registered developers (and some non-devs unofficially), the 7th iteration of iOS is finally ready for primetime. It is our pleasure to inform our dear readers Apple has finally pushed iOS 7 out of its release window.
If you have pre-ordered the iPhone 5c (or planning to pre-order/buy iPhone 5s two days from now), then all you need to do is to wait for the package to hit your doorsteps to enjoy the latest and greatest mobile operating system from Apple. On the flip side, if you are rocking other supported devices, you will have to update your device to get hold of that bold, new iOS 7 look. Perhaps the best and most convenient way to go at it is to update via OTA (Over-The-Air). Just navigate your iDevice to Settings > General > Software Update.
NOTE TO JAILBREAKERS: If you currently have Evasi0n jailbreak, OTA updates will be disabled. You need to download the iOS 7 IPSW file and restore via iTunes.
But we know many of you like to keep your IPSW files around. This is the best option for you if you are planning to get the iOS 7 jailbreak later on, or you simply want to do a clean, fresh install. However, it seems that direct download links for iOS 7 final IPSW files are not yet available. As soon as direct links are available, we will be updating this post with the iOS 7 final IPSW links. Make sure that you've read our guide on how to prepare your iDevice for iOS 7 installation.
UPDATE X1: If you are still getting iOS 6.1.3 / 6.1.4 in your Software Update page, then it's likely that Apple hasn't rolled out iOS 7 in your country yet. Just be patient.
UPDATE X2: Direct download links are added. Enjoy!
