Unless you have been living under a rock for the past week, you should be well aware of iOS 7 and how it looks like. Apple's latest mobile operating system is definitely the biggest change that happened to the iOS platform. Some people like change, some don't, which is why there's plenty of polarizing opinions regarding the system's design. It's basically a love-or-hate situation at this point. Apparently, world-class iOS hacker Pod2g is not too thrilled with iOS 7 as well.
As you all know, iOS 7 is currently on its first beta release. And after getting a taste of iOS 7, Pod2g thinks that it's the "worst move Apple did in a long time" and citing reasons that the design is terrible and it's just slow. In fact, he hates it so much that he's considering to switch to Android. You can read Pod2g's comments about iOS 7 below:
After a few days of iOS 7 beta 1 testing, I must admit that I am about to switch to an Android device.
IMHO, this version of iOS is the worst move Apple did in a long time.
iOS 7 design is awful, it’s slow, battery life time is the worst ever, it’s full of UI bugs and crashes. OK it’s beta 1, but still…
I am pretty disappointed by the features I’ve seen in iOS 7. No revolution here. No big news. Just kid painting. They [Apple] are good at convincing people their software is ‘amazing’.
Keep in mind that Pod2g never said that he's definitely moving to Android but if this keeps up, he might as well do. Or perhaps over time, iOS 7 will grow on him. Personally, I don't think Pod2g will just leave iOS just like that, especially when it's the platform that made him who he is. Just maybe, he said those things out of frustration.
