As reported previously, Apple released OS X 10.8.4, which contains plenty of bug fixes, features and improvements. It seems Apple is not planning on slowing down with these updates as the company has just released an update for its popular media player and manager, iTunes. That's right, folks, Apple has released iTunes 11.0.4, which can now be downloaded for both Windows and Mac.
Unlike the remarkable list of updates for OS X 10.8.4, the change log for iTunes 11.0.4 is rather short. However, there are some features that users may find interesting. Perhaps the most notable one is the inclusion of a new Mini Player. With this new Mini Player, a song's album art will be displayed much better. On top of that, there is also the Improved Songs view, so you can view album artworks while in Song's view.
The official change log for iTunes 11.0.4 are as follows:
- New Mini Player. MiniPlayer now includes a beautiful new view that showcases your album artwork. In addition, a progress bar is now built right into MiniPlayer.
- Improved Songs view. You can now enjoy your album artwork while in Songs view.
- Multi-Disc Albums. Albums with multiple discs now appear as a single album.
- This update fixes a problem that may cause iTunes to quite if you switch between wired and wireless syncing and addresses an issue that may require you to log into the iTunes Store repeatedly.
As you can see, the updates are nothing to write home about but it does fix a bug involving wired and wireless syncing.
