As you may all know, Apple just announced the official dates for the WorldWide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2013 and that tickets will be sold the following day after, which is today. Well, if you are of the many hopefuls who want to get their hands on the tickets for WWDC 2013, I sure do hope you were fast enough because tickets were sold out in just two minutes.
You got that right folks! After briefly going on sale at 10 am Pacific, 1 pm Eastern, WWDC tickets were sold out after only two minutes. If anyone can recall last year, it took about two hours for the tickets to sold out, which is already impressive in itself. Now for tickets priced at $1,599 to be sold out in just two minutes is just phenomenally impressive. So can we expect next year's WWDC tickets to sold out in just two seconds?
WWDC has always been one of the biggest tech conferences that is held year after year. And interests have always been off the charts which is indicated by rapid ticket sellouts. Apple has outdone themselves again this year. Take note that entry to the event is only exclusive for registered members of the iOS Developer Program, iOS Developer Enterprise Program, or the Mac Developer Program. The Cupertino giant announced that WWDC 2013 keynotes and sessions will be made into videos which would also be made available to developers, and perhaps even the public.
WWDC 2013 will take place at the Moscone West in San Francisco, CA. It is highly likely that Apple will give the audience a sneak peek at their next-gen mobile operating system for iDevices, the iOS 7. On top of that, the next major OS X update for Macs will be addressed in a keynote as well.
