IntelliScreenX 6, MyWi 6.0, and Messages+ Updated for iOS 6, Ready for Untethered Jailbreak

Jailbreak enthusiasts are tingling with excitement as we draw close to the release of the iOS 6 untethered jailbreak. Most of you should be saying "just release it already." However, the Evad3rs group are running on schedule that needs to be followed at all cost, otherwise, we would end up with an unstable jailbreak. With the imminent release of Evasi0n, well-known jailbreak app developer Intelliborn has updated his most popular products for iOS 6 compatibility.

Intelliborn Tweaks iOS 6 Untethered Jailbreak

Intelliborn is no stranger of the jailbreak community. It's the group who made some of the most useful jailbreak apps out there, such as IntelliScreenX, My3G, and MyWi. One of the most pressing concerns of jailbreak users when performing a major firmware upgrade is the compatibility of apps and tweaks. There are those apprehensive about upgrading to iOS 6 because their favorite apps and tweaks are not properly supported. If you hsare this thinking, you'll be happy to know Intelliborn just updated three of its major products for iOS 6 compatibility.

Intelliborn tweeted that IntelliScreenX 6, MyWi 6.0, and Messages+ are now available in iOS 6. The only thing missing, or course is the iOS 6 untethered jailbreak itself. For the uninitiated, IntelliScreenX is a tweak that places your Notification Center at the lockscreen with added functionality, like toggles. MyWi is a nifty app allowing you to share your iPhone's 3G or EDGE connection with other devices, effectively turning it into your own mobile WiFi hotspot. Messages+ is like BiteSMS, which puts some much-needed oomph to the default text-messaging experience. This is good news for users of these tweaks, as they'll no longer have to hold off that iOS 6 upgrade.

If you're going to check the Evasi0n website, you'll see it is 85% done. In the description, it says, "first major round of testing concluded successfully on Windows and Mac. Next step: tests on more iOS device and firmware combinations." At this point, it should only be a matter of hours before the release of the iOS 6 untethered jailbreak. [via iJailbreak]

I just got a New iPhone5, iOS 6.1, and upon Jailbreaking and reinstalling my Cydia apps, I discover that Intelliborn have seen fit to break the application (MyWi) for which I paid so that will no longer install. This, is c*nt of an act and completely out of line.If this is what so called “serious” vendors in the JailBreak community do, then that is the last cent I spend on JailBreak apps.I could have used a cracked version, but paid for the product because the app is high quality, well supported (bugfixes and updates) and I was happy to support what was clearly a solid development effort.Breaking my application in order to f* me over for $5 is a broken idea. It’s not the money, it’s the principle. The probability of me (or anyone I know) buying anything else from Intelliborn is now zero. I wanted tethering on demand for my iPad, but screw it now.I will now go and find a cracked version and install it. Dweeb
