Steps on How to Find iPhone 4/4S/5 IMEI Number:
As mentioned earlier, there are numerous ways to find your iPhone IMEI number. Feel free to use which method is best and most accessible for you.
Method #1: Dialing *#06#
This is the old method to find the iPhone's IMEI number. Just launch your iPhone's Phone app and start dialing *#06# and your IMEI number will be immediately displayed. This works on all mobile phones as well.
Method #2: iPhone Settings
Navigate to Settings > General > About. Scroll down and you should find your IMEI number. They are usually listed as: xx xxxxxx xxxxxx x . You may also find your ICCID here, just below the IMEI number.
Method #3: Via iTunes
Connect your iPhone to the computer and launch iTunes. Click your device from the sidebar menu [to display the sidebar menu in iTunes 11, simply use these shortcuts: CTRL+S (Windows) Option + Command + S (Mac)]. You should see the summary of your device. To display your IMEI number, click on your Phone number and the IMEI should be displayed just below Capacity and above the Serial Number.
Method #4: SIM Card Tray
Pop open your iPhone's SIM card tray and you should find the IMEI number printed on it. When your iPhone is activated on a CDMA carrier, both the IMEI and MEID number will be displayed as 15 digits. For the MEID, it uses only the first 14 digits, while the IMEI uses all 15. This method is applicable only in the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 (GSM model), and iPhone 4S, NOT the iPhone 5.
Method #5: The iPhone 5 Back Plate
If you have an iPhone 5 (or the original iPhone) you can check for your IMEI number by looking at the back plate of the device near the bottom.
