Microsoft and Nokia have scheduled a joint event for September 5, where the companies are rumored to be presenting two Windows Phone handsets. Meanwhile, a new video has been published on Nokia’s official YouTube channel, suggesting the Finnish company is readying something huge for next week.
At first sight the video seems like it was taken with a handset camera showing a bike ride with one simple message, “Things are about to change,” and the following description gives information about when the expected “change” will occur: September 5.
The Verge immediately started speculating whether the video is from a Nokia Windows Phone or from the widely anticipated PureView Windows Phone, but it could be taken as a hint toward a third WP device planned to go mainstream within a week. Furthermore, Russian blogger Eldar Murtazin is pretty sure about a third Windows Phone 8.
As we approach September, the launch schedule of the tech world becomes kinda crowdy: Nokia and Microsoft are having this public event in New York on September 5; Amazon will launch its Kindle Fire(s) the next day; and Apple is rumored to be presenting its eagerly awaited iPhone 5 feature improvements on both the hardware and the software sides.Contact Us for News Tips, Corrections and Feedback
