The iOS has always been a great platform for casual games which is certainly one of the many reasons why millions of people are being engaged into casual gaming. With that said, many of the best games that are found on the iOS ecosystem of apps are the one that are super-easy to pick up but very difficult to put down. Highly addictive gameplay, vibrant graphics and quirky characters seem to be the order of the day (see: Angry Birds). But outside of Angry Birds, another bird themed game has made it into hearts of iOS gaming enthusiasts. I'm referring of course to the ever popular Tiny Wings, which is now getting a sequel. Well, sort of.
I will outright say that Tiny Wings is one of my favorite games on the iOS. Countless hours have been sacrificed in order to get that nest level objectives and I've lost count of the times that I've said to myself, "just one more game" but ended up playing ten more or so. This is why I'm pleased to bring to your attention that Tiny Wings have been updated to version 2.0. But it is packed with so much new stuff, it might as well be a sequel. Below are the new features that you can expect from Tiny Wings 2.0:
What’s new in Tiny Wings 2.0?
- A new game mode: "Flight School"
- 15 hand-crafted levels that really "flow"
- A few new additions to the bird family
- Hello shiny Retina Display! Tiny Wings is now as lovely as you are.
- Night flights
- iCloud support (even syncs your game between the iPhone & iPad versions)
- Revised menu
- New languages: German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch
Hi Tiny Wings fans! The long-awaited Tiny Wings 2 is finally done! I’ve put a lot of love into creating this major update, and I hope you’ll enjoy it. You’ll be getting a completely new game mode with 15 hand-designed levels, a whole flock of baby birds, fish, and other surprises!
As you can see, this is no small update to the popular endless running game. And as if that is not enough, this update is free to download, provided that you have purchased the game previously (for the low price of $0.99). This is really cool because if he had offered the update as an in-app purchase, many people would be happy to buy it. Kudos to Mr. Illinger!
In addition to that, Tiny Wings HD for the iPad is now available as well packed with features like Multiplayer (split-screen), iCloud support, iPad Retina graphics and more.Contact Us for News Tips, Corrections and Feedback
