SAM worked, except for the push notifications guide written here. Thanks! Yay!! So I searched for another solution. For those who still don’t have push notifications after the ‘wildcardactivated’ state.. Go to settings > wi-fi. Click the blue circle button beside your wi-fi. Clear first the numbers written on DNS and then change it to This worked for me!! By the way, I have iPhone 3Gs, jailbroken 5.0.1 with redsn0w, iPad baseband. Good luck!

I keep failing at step 20. It says sim card not supported – but I can confirm from SAM that my phone is wildcard activated. How to solve this ???

I have an iPhone 3Gs that was previously on 5.1 and worked perfectly after hactivation. I recently updated to 5.1.1 and jailbroke with redsnow. I am on t-mobile and I noticed that the battery is terribly draining. I want to fix this but I want to kno that this will 100% work because I don’t need a paper weight as a phone. I am also on the iPad baseband 05.16.00…Please let me know if the above install still works 100% as of today may 23rd…thankssssssss plz respond
