The New iPad 3 Trailer
The New iPad 3 Retina Display
The new iPad 3 retina display will have a resolution of 2048 x 1536. This is quite impressive considering that HD displays currently run at 1920 x 1080. This is around a million more pixels.
The New iPad 3 A5X Processor
The new Apple A5X processor is no new radical departure from the A5 processor that is found in previous iDevice models. It is in fact an evolution of the A5 Processor. Apple has claimed that the processor will be dual core with quad core graphics capabilities.
It is also rumored that the RAM included in the new chipset will be 1 gigabyte. This is a significant improvement over the iPhone 4S which was around half of this.
The New iPad 3 Front and Back Cameras
The new back camera will feature the same camera that is included on the iPhone 4S. The camera will be 5 megapixels and will be capable of recording 1080p video. The new iPad 3 will also include a front camera that can be used for face time and other applications such as Skype, just as before on the iPad 2.
iLife for iPad 3
The new iLife collection will include many new innovations in the applications that have never been seen before. Garage Band will have a new feature where up to 4 people can "jam" together. The biggest thing included in the new iPhoto application will be the ability to identify similar photos and then have the ability to choose from these photos. There will also be an enhanced collection of features that will allow you to professionally modify photos from you iPad.
Using iPad 3 as a Wifi Hotspot
It has also been confirmed that the iPad3 will also be capable of creating a wifi hotspot from your cellular data connection. This wifi hotspot will support up to 5 different devices.
Data Connection Capabilities
The iPad 3 will support all of the latest data connection methods including the most recent 4G LTE. This connection will support up to a blazing 42 Mbps, allowing you to download or stream anything at the snap of a finger.

- iPad 3 will not have Siri, It will however, be capable of voice diction.
- The iPad 3 will include a retina display.
- The iPad 3 will not have a quad core processor.
- The iPad 3 will not be an indirect competitor to the iPad 2 (some thought that there would be a variation of sizes; however, aside from it being a bit thicker the screen size is the same).
