Hi!I have a huge problem after doing this. The “official” ibooks doesn’t show up in itunes, so I can’t transfer any document. In fact, when I explore my new ipad with ifun box, I can see 2 ibooks. The first one is the “normal”, and the second one is at my ipad’s root (sorry for my english, I’m french).http://www.hostingpics.net/viewer.php?id=937690Capture.pngI think that the two ibooks are in conflict.Any solution?

    Hey Guys!

I found a way to sync your Books or PDFs with your iPad AND read them:

    1. DO NOT DELETE THE ROUNDED ICON!
    2. DO NOT OPEN THE ROUNDED VERSION OF iBooks! (Place it anywhere in a Folder)
    3. SYNC YOUR BOOKS WITH iTunes
    4. OPEN THE iBooks APP WITH THE EDGES
    5. READ YOUR BOOKS
    6. ENJOY :D

Hey guys, after installing the squared icon, DON’T delete it, syc with iTunes first, load some books, respring, and then you can delete it, it really works, it’s just that this guide it’s not complete. After you delete the rounded icon and respring the new icon will still be squared so go to:
http://iphoneblogr.com/2011/10/working-ibooks-fix-for-jailbroken-ios5-ssh/  You only have to upload some images through iFile and that’s it. I’m using: Iphone 4 with iOS 5.1

I tried this twice, and it doesn’t work for my untethered iPhone 3GS. and also, after the rounded icon was deleted and the phone was respringed, the new iBooks icon still looks like a square (in the guide’s screenshot it looks rounded again). =/ please help?

I did it and worked fine, except for the app icon, which remains square. I deleted the rounded one first, then respring again, and the icon is still square and looks sooo ugly! Any ideas?
