Over the course of many weeks, there have been tons of things that are being speculated for the next generation iPad. One certain aspect that has been speculated frequently is the release date of the iPad 3. Many reports point to the first week of March announcement but there has been no solid evidence to that claim. Until now that is.
Technology-focused news publication, The Verge has finally received their invitation for Apple's upcoming huge event which will almost certainly be the unveiling of the iPad 3 (or iPad HD / iPad 2S or whatever it is that Apple decides to call it). The said event is going to take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco on March 7th, Wednesday at 10AM PST.
The next-gen iPad is expected to have the same form factor as the iPad 2, with no significant design changes. The real changes are however under the hood with a faster (an upgraded dual core or quad core) processor, High Definition Retina Display capable of 2048x1536 resolution, updated camera and perhaps even LTE capabilities. As usual, Apple has always been good in keeping the specifications of their new devices under wraps so there are no solid information about it yet. But as you can see from the image above, it seems that isn't a regular iPad display but a higher definition one.
Just one more week folks!! Are you excited about the iPad 3? Will you buy it once it comes out? Or will you be sticking with your trusty iPad 2? [via TheVerge]Contact Us for News Tips, Corrections and Feedback
