Have you ever encountered the error the "I Wasn't Able to Locate File For the Package" error each time you try to install a Cydia package or add a Cydia source? Well, one has to admit that it can be quite annoying. Generally, this error occurs when you "Cancel" the Cydia reload operation. Once you launch Cydia, you will immediately notice that it will reload its data. Cydia is actually refreshing all data trying to search for changes on the packages or sources. Steps to Fix Cydia "I Wasn't Able to Locate File For the Package" Error:
- Launch Cydia.
- Once you see the error while adding a Cydia repo or adding / upgrading a package, tap the Changes tab below.
- You should see the Refresh button at the top left of the screen. Tap it.
- Wait while Cydia finishes reloading its data. Try adding or upgrading the package / source again.
So it is always best if you let Cydia reload properly every time you boot. Yes, it is annoying but at least it would minimize the errors. If you still get this error after following the above mentioned steps, then the package might have been deleted from the repo by the repo management.
