Jailbreak Dream Team Gets Saurik to Help, iPhone 4S & iPad 2 A5 Jailbreak Finally Moves Forward

While majority of the jailbreak community has already sunked their teeth into a working iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak for a few weeks now, owners of A5 devices (iPhone 4S and iPad 2) are still yet to get their first taste of the elusive jailbreak. A few days ago, in order to get the progress of the A5 jailbreak really going, jailbreak superstar pod2g recruited the help of some of the most prominent personalities of the jailbreak community.

A5 Jailbreak
Jailbreaking the A5 for iOS 5.0.1 has proven to be quite a beast so pod2g recruited the help of the following: the legendary hacker @planetbeing, iPhone Dev-Team's @MuscleNerd and the leader of the Chronic-Dev Team @p0sixninja. And now through a tweet made by MusleNerd it seems that the A5 Jailbreak Dream Team has been getting a bit of outside help from no other than the father of Cydia himself, Jay Freeman better known as Saurik.

MuscleNerd thanked Saurik for his major contribution on the A5 version of pod2g's untethered jailbreak. But in order to manage the expectations of the jailbreak community, the iPhone Dev-Team frontman made it clear that there is no available ETA yet. However, people need to take comfort in the fact that things will finally be moving forward.

And as a reply to MuscleNerd's tweet, pod2g also made a tweet which gave props to Planetbeing for his contribution which involved presumably a lot of coding and research. And it seems that because of this, the team has finally able to offset the sandboxing problems with A5.

Again, no estimated date as to when the A5 jailbreak will be completed or released. So we highly encourage iPhone 4S and iPad 2 owners to be patient and extend their support towards the A5 Jailbreak Dream Team. Rest assured that the people involved are working round the clock in order to finally bring the much anticipated iPhone 4S and iPad 2 jailbreak.
