What about Trend Micro? I remember when PC Cillin and trend Micro ruled the world. I am currently using Avast and MalwareBytes. Why isn’t Malwarebytes mentioned? I’m not qualified in terms of credentials or expertise to recommend anything. However, I do like Avast’s features and eight live shields. With settings done properly, CNET says that Avast has a 97% detection rate. CNET says the detection rate could be better. What about Adaware? They claim to have 400 million users. The full scan took 2 hours. The definitions downloads are slow too.
