Kinectimals for iPhone, iPad & iPod Touch Now Available for Download [iTunes Link]

If you are a big Xbox 360 gamer, then you should be well aware of Microsoft's own entry to motion control gaming, the Kinect. When the Kinect debuted, there are few games that were shown to showcase the peripheral's functionalities. One such game was Kinectimals for the Xbox 360. Seemingly out of nowhere, Microsoft has released Kinectimals for the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

This irresistible mobile experience gives you the chance to use your phone to visit the island of Lemuria and play with, care for and fall in love with your very own cub. Stand-alone mobile game features Kinectimals’ signature visual quality, delightful animation and brand new ways to play with your cub!

Although Microsoft has already brought a couple of apps to the iOS platform such as Bing for iPad and Windows Live Messenger, Kinectimals for the iOS is technically the first ever game by the software giant to grace the App Store. If you already the Xbox 360 version of the game, this version will have you unlock five new cubs for the console version which is certainly a neat extra. Word on the street is that this version is also very similar to the Windows Phone 7 version, although we won't be surprised if it is indeed a direct port.
Kinectimals for iOS
If anyone can recall, last week Microsoft also released in the App Store a companion piece in the form of My Xbox LIVE, which is basically Xbox Live for the iOS. And now its Kinectimals. Is it possible that Microsoft will finally bring some of its Xbox Live games into the iOS? Well, one could only dream but this is definitely promising. To grab the iOS version of Kinectimals, you can use the link that we have provided below.
