We all know that Apple is going to make some major announcement with regards to its upcoming smartphone release, the iPhone 5 (or iPhone 4S) on tomorrow's "Let's Talk iPhone" event. And because of this, there have been several reports of the next generation iPhone appearing in a number of store inventories across the globe. And now a new report surfaces where the new iPhone model is listed in yet another inventory.
This new finding was found in iPhone-Ticker.de which indicates that the German carrier Vodafone is now listing new models of iPhone that everyone has been anticipating to get their hands on. The listing of the next generation is actually found in Vodafone's accessory pages where it lists several devices under the compatibility requirements for the iPhone 4. And from the listings, one can clearly see four new devices which are the: iPhone 4 Black (8GB), iPhone 4 White (8GB), iPhone 4S White (16GB, 32GB, 64GB) and iPhone 4S Black (16GB, 32GB, 64GB). Check it out from the screenshots below:
This particular inventory listing is quite interesting because this actually lists the previously rumored low-end iPhone 4 which is speculated to have 8GB of storage space. Could this be the entry level iPhone that has been rumored for the past few months. And with no iPhone 5 in sight, if this report is any indication, the long awaited next generation iPhone is actually the iPhone 4S. A device that receives quite a bit of upgrade from the iPhone 4 but still sports the same chassis as the current generation model.
If anyone can recall, there have been numerous rumors lately that points to the possibility that the next major iPhone release is just a mildly upgraded iPhone 4, which is dubbed as the iPhone 4S. These string of reports will no doubt come as a huge disappointment for those who have been hoping for more than just a specs upgrade for the next iPhone release. But then again, it could be possible that some items in this particular inventory listing is actually just a placeholder for the new iPhone which will be announced by Apple tomorrow during the iPhone event.
Well just one more day folks and we will finally take a glimpse of what Apple has in store for fans of the uber-popular iPhone. Will the announcement be a rip-roaring one? Or will iPhone fans be in for some major downers? We will no doubt going to find out tomorrow. [via MacRumors]Contact Us for News Tips, Corrections and Feedback
