When it comes to Nintendo first party games, aside from the iconic plumber himself, the Legend of Zelda series has always been a darling of gaming fans. Skyward Sword is Nintendo's second Zelda offering for the Wii, Twilight Princess being the first and was released back in 2006. Skyward Sword looks and feels like a true Zelda game complete with a vibrant new palette and exaggerated enemy designs. Just last month, Nintendo released The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for the 3DS and later this year, Skyward Sword. It looks like fans will have a lot of Zelda goodness in order to whet their appetite.

Assassins Creed Revelations
In this fourth installment of the Assassin's Creed series, Revelations once again puts you in the shoes of renaissance badass Ezio Auditore da Firenze. In Revelations however, Ezio looks to have aged quite significantly since Brotherhood. This game will now take players into the Ottoman Constantinople in 1511 AD. This time the players are tasked to look for a key that will open up a weapon that could forever end the war between the Assassins and the Templars. The multiplayer mode which was first featured in Brotherhood will make a return as well complete with character customization and better matchmaking.

Gears of War 3

Gears of War 3
This September gamers will once again find themselves blasting (or chainsawing) off Locusts in the third installment of Microsoft's flagship series, Gears ofWar. According to Epic Games, this will be the last game in the series or most likely the last game that will feature Gear soldier, Marcus Fenix. The campaign of Gears of War are always fun and with this being the last game in the series, one can only expect that it will go out with a big bang. Multiplayer is back as well with a couple of new modes, although for me Gears is all about the sweeping campaign.
