Top Must Have iOS Games for Your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch This Week

For those of you who have been craving for new iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch games, then you are in luck. There's an upcoming barrage of games that are coming to the App Store today. So if you are tired of the current iOS apps for your iDevice right now, then you might want to check out these following games and see if anything tickles your fancy.

1-bit Ninja

Now this should please old-school 2D platformer fans everywhere. There hasn't been any shortage of platformers in the iOS but 1-bit Ninja actually brings something new to the table. 1-bit Ninja actually implements a pretty cool gimmick of being able to rotate the camera. So what you thought is 2D plane turns into 3D. And this is not just for gimmick though because it does have an effect in gameplay such as being able to reveal secret platforms or path by altering the plane.

Buy 1-bit Ninja for $1.99.

Battleship for iPad

BattleShip for iPad
This is a good port of the popular board game by Electronic Arts which really seems to be at home in an iPad more than anything. One disadvantage though, this game has no online multiplayer capabilities. Which is a shame and an incomprehensible decision on the part of EA which should really take a hint from successful multiplayer games like Words with Friends. Maybe an update someday?

Buy Battleship for iPad for $2.99.

D.A.R.K. is a 3D sci-fi topdown shooter with RPG elements. Encounter waves after waves of enemies, huge bosses, solve puzzles and upgrade your weapons as you uncover the mystery of the ship that your crew has lost contact with. Sci-fi fans who are looking to blast some aliens should enlist.

Buy D.A.R.K. for $0.99 (SPECIAL 66% LAUNCH PRICE SALE!!!).

Here's another console style offering from famed iOS developer Gameloft. Upon watching the video, what do you see? Yes, this looks like the lovechild of the Assassin's Creed Series and the Pirates of the Caribbean. If you are fans of both series or craving for some console style action, then you might want to give this game a spin. Gameloft is known from bringing quality games to the iOS such as N.O.V.A. and Order & Chaos Online, although they are not exactly original both in concept and execution.

Buy BackStab for $6.99.

Don't Fall Off

Another iOS game from Electronic Arts and this time it's a bit more casual like Angry Birds and Doodle Jump. Don't Fall Off tasks you of helping Rollie stay on his paper boat as he travels down the river. This is a simple balance game with added gameplay elements like obstacles thrown in. Should be a good deal for casual fans out there.

Buy Don't Fall Off for $0.99.

Hills of Glory: WWII

This game looks like a tower defense game with a World War II flavor. Developed by BULKYPIX, this game involves you in defending your position from countless enemies with the use of various military weaponry at your arsenal. Yup, sounds like a tower defense game to me. Check it out if you are a fan of the genre.

Buy Hills of Glory: WWII for $0.99.

Ionocraft Racing

If you are a fan of the Wipeout series then you ought to try out Ionocraft Racing. It is basically a steampunk version of Wipeout. You get to construct your own racing vehicle and upgrade it with parts that you can buy from the shop. Looks like a solid racer and it looks quite good too.

Buy Ionocraft Racing for $1.99.

Kona's Crate

Judging by the trailer, this game looks like tons of fun. From the looks of it, this seems to be one of those games that's easy to pickup but hard to master. You control a jet-powered platform and your main goal is to deliver a crate to the chief but you have to navigate your way around countless obstacle without breaking the crate. Kona's Crate does have the makings of a great physics-based puzzler. I won't be surprised if this becomes a hit.

Buy Kona's Crate for $1.99. (Launch Week Sale!)

Lamebo VS Zombies

As if we don't have enough zombie games for the iOS, here's another zombie game for you. Although developers seems to be trying to find some ways to exploit the zombies by doing something that's never done before. And this one have you controlling a genetically enhanced sheep. Okay. Lamebo VS Zombies have you blasting down the undead and unlock various weapons and upgrades. The game looks good with colorful art style and seems to be filled with humor too.

Buy Lamebo VS Zombies for $0.99.

Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing

It can be depressing how there's a lack of kart-style racing in the iOS. If your heart is aching for a Mario-kart esque experience on the iOS, then Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing should definitely fill that void. I've actually played this game back when it was in PSN and I must say that this is a very solid kart racer. With tons of modes, lovable Sega characters and with local multiplayer and online. It might as well be the best kart racing game in the App Store.

Buy Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing for $1.99. (SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY OFFER!)
