If you have been keeping tabs of the tech industry, it is highly likely that you've heard of Apple Inc.'s CEO Steve Jobs. Despite his unequivocal "celebrity" status and great wealth, Steve Jobs is perhaps one of the most private CEO in the tech industry, if not the most private. But all of that will soon change because Jobs has authorized a biography about his private life, which is now available for preorder at Amazon.com.
The authorized biography is entitled iSteve: The Book of Jobs and is written by critically acclaimed biographer, Walter Isaacson. Author of Einstein: His Life and Universe (2007) and Benjamin Franklin: An American Life (2003). The book let the readers take a peek into the life of the Apple founder and CEO, both private and professional.
From bestselling author Walter Isaacson comes the landmark biography of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. In iSteve: The Book of Jobs, Isaacson provides an extraordinary account of Jobs’ professional and personal life.
Drawn from three years of exclusive and unprecedented interviews Isaacson has conducted with Jobs as well as extensive interviews with Jobs' family members, key colleagues from Apple and its competitors, iSteve is the definitive portrait of the greatest innovator of his generation.
iSteve: The Book of Jobs is now available at Amazon.com for pre-order and is expected to be released on March 6th 2012. Customers can choose to preorder the iSteve in Kindle ($14.99) and paper guise ($19.80). iSteve is a 448 page book and will be published by Simon & Schuster.
It is worth mentioning that iSteve isn't the first book writter about the Apple CEO. Books such as "iCon Steve Jobs" and "Inside Steve’s Brain", both well received by Apple fans, with the former previously banned by Steve Jobs from the Apple Store due to being an "unauthorized" biography.
