Taiwanese blog Apple.pro has posted images of what claims to be a redesigned camera flash for the upcoming iPhone 4S/5. Also shown here are the specifics of a redesigned front facing camera and notably, the rear camera now lacks the flash component. These leaked photos back the rumors regarding Apple planning to split the camera and LED flash components. A mock up picture of the next-gen iPhone is attached after the break.
Also reported in by GadgetsDNA were pictures of a new crystal casing for the next gen iPhone. These pictures were leaked by the well known Chinese trading website Alibaba who claims that this new casing is for the iPhone 5G quoted under the heading "Newest Design Crystal Case for Apple iPhone 5G". On the rear of this casing is what seems to be a second small opening to the far right, parallel to the camera. This is reported to accommodate the redesigned camera flash. The crystal case now has a much thinner bezel than the current iPhone 4, though you may not actually see the 4.0" edge-to-edge mocked up screen anytime soon. However MacRumors points out that even the current casing for the iPhone 4 has a thin bezel and so nothing can be concluded at this point of time.
