Four new teaser trailers released last night have shed light on to where the next installment of the Call of Duty franchise will be set. There are actually quite a lot of locations. Here are just a few: New York City, Paris, France, London, England and Berlin, Germany. Additional locations from previous Modern Warfare games have also been added.
The trailers all give hints to where the location is. For example, in the 'England' teaser it showed iconic landmarks like the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. At the end of each trailer you can hear a man speaking in Russian.
That's right, you guessed it! It looks like the Russians will be our enemies once again. And from the videos we can see that the four countries to be attacked by (what will undoubtedly be) Russia are the United States, England, France and Germany.
*Yawn* - all seems a tiny bit predictable to tell you the truth. The new guys a Sledgehammer Games seem to have lost all their imagination. It's almost as if they have copied and pasted the storyline from Modern Warfare 2.
However I may be being a little to harsh. It could turn out to be a good game and it will most likely sell whether or not it's good or not due to the amount of hardcore fans it has. But I really don't think how many units the game sells should judge it's success. After all I played Black Ops for about a week and have never played it since.
All we can hope for is that Sledgehammer will make a good job of it and that they don't get a little bit carried away with themselves.
And lets all hope that the PSN is up by November! [via GamingTarget]Contact Us for News Tips, Corrections and Feedback
