Hi, I jailbroke my iphone, it is up and running but doesn’t connect to cellphone provider. It shows searching sometimes or 1 point of signal but no connection. There is no way to do a manual search of companies.
    Thanks for your help

You need to upgrade your iPhone baseband 05.16.02 to 06.15.00 to unlock it using Ultrasn0w 1.2.2. To do that check Install iPad baseband option during the jailbreak procedure. You may lose GPS functionality by upgrading your baseband to iPad baseband.

Thanks Wolverine, is there a way to go to a previous iOS + baseband version to not lose GPS?

Almost all users who upgraded to iPad baseband from 05.16.02 managed to save their GPS functionality. There are very slight chances of losing GPS. As far as question of downgrading baseband is concerned, read the details here
