iH8sn0w, the man behind Sn0wbreeze, iREB and iBooty tool has confirmed that Ultrasn0w Fix for iPhone 3GS users will be incorporated in the next beta release of Sn0wbreeze 2.3. For those who don't know, Ultrasn0w and MobileSubstrate were broken in iOS 4.3 due to Apple's new ASLR feature. MobileSubstrate has already been fixed in Sn0wbreeze 2.3b2 while Ultrasn0w is still broken.
@husnishafqat ultrasn0w does not work yet. Next beta does.
@iNIKEL its in testing. Public release is probably tomorrow.
Ultrasn0w Fix for iPhone 3GS was originally developed by Msft.Guy (@msft_guy) and initially the fix worked for iOS 4.3 betas only. Yesterday, iH8sn0w ported the same Ultrasn0w Fix by Msft.Guy to work with iOS 4.3 GM. iH8sn0w also released a video in which he demoed his unlocked iPhone 3GS running iOS 4.3 GM. The source-code of original Ultrasn0w Fix by Msft.Guy can be found here.
Hopefully by tomorrow, all iPhone 3GS (Old+New Bootrom) users will be able to unlock their iPhones on iOS 4.3 using Ultrasn0w 1.2. Just like other betas of Sn0wbreeze 2.3, iPhone 3GS (Old Bootrom) users will be able to enjoy full untethered iOS 4.3 jailbreak while all other iDevices can have tethered iOS 4.3 jailbreak.
