Previously we shared the manual method of adding ModMyi and BigBoss repo to Cydia which involves SSH'ing into your device and replacing certain system files on your iPhone. If you don't have an SSH access for some reason, you can still add ModMyi and BigBoss repo to Cydia without even connecting your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to your computer.
Steps to Add ModMyi & BigBoss Repo to Cydia without SSH:
- Open Cydia on your jailbroken iDevice.
- Tap on the 'Manage' tab at the bottom Cydia.
- Click on 'Sources' tab and select 'Telesphoreo Tangelo' from the repo list. At this step if 'Telesphoreo Tangelo' is missing from your Cydia, you have to add it using this tutorial.
- Scroll down to letter 'B' in the repo directory and choose 'BigBoss's Source' as shown in the screenshot below:
- To install BisBoss source, click on the 'Install' button on the top-right.
- To install ModMyi repo, navigate to letter 'M' in 'Telesphoreo Tangelo' directory list and select 'ModMyi.com' as shown in the screenshot below:
- To install ModMyi source, click on the 'Install' button on the top-right.
Thats it. After installing the sources, you need to reboot your iPhone. After reboot, launch Cydia, tap on the 'Changes' section and hit the 'Refresh' button at the top-left. Once done, you will find ModMyi and BigBoss repo installed in your Cydia sources.

If you’ve uninstalled the Modmyi repository (or another one of the default community sources), you can reinstall it by opening Cydia and choosing “More Package Sources” from the homepage. The missing source (if any) will display at the top of the page and you can tap it to reinstall.
yep. modmyi.com does not appear in telesphoreo tangelo
hello. i’ve accidently deleted Modmyi source. and now i can’t find Modmyi.com. what can i do? help!
Did you try following the steps mentioned here?
I deleted the BigBoss source by accident, And i did everything here but i cant find ”BigBoss Source” Only ”Bigboss Icon Set”. I need HELP!
Yep, that’s because Saurik has removed this option starting from Cydia 1.1. You will now need to follow the manual method of getting back BigBoss’s repo. Follow this guide: http://bit.ly/mCSn6B
Apparently there’s an error with the update? Or something like that. Basically it’s not working for me. Anything I can do?
Repeat the steps after sometime. Probably their server is down right now. Try the same after a few hours.
They’re not in the list at the telesphoreo source…
Yeah Saurik removed the option in Cydia 1.1. Just add them through manual method (See the BigBoss and ModMyi links in the top-most line of this post)
Isn’t all of these repo added to cydia when you have already jailbroken? Just a bit of internet connection when you open cydia for some time
thanks. awesome :) just what i needed to do
