Restore Firmware on iDevice without iTunes or Error with New TinyUmbrealla [Coming Soon]

TinyUmbrella which was previously known for downgrading and saving SHSH blobs of your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad is now coming up with a much useful feature which will allow you to restore your iDevice on any firmware (Stock or Custom IPSW) without iTunes and consequently without any iTunes restore errors.

Official update via Semaphore:

I've been working on a new and improved version of TinyUmbrella that will, among other things, allow you to restore your iDevice without iTunes. With the holiday season and work, this will take me a bit to get working the way I want it. I appreciate your patience and your support. You guys are awesome :) No ETAs yet but I'll post updates here and on twitter.

Restore Firmware with TinyUmbrella
For those who don't know, TinyUmbrella was also used to kick iDevices out of recovery mode after firmware restore but Apple introduced baseband protection from iOS 4.2.1 and onwards which now blocks TinyUmbrealla, iREB, RecBoot or EasyiRecovery to kick your iDevice out of recovery mode whenever you encounter 1015 iTunes restore error.

The developer refused to give any ETA but if the new TinyUmbrella succeeded to restore iDevices without iTunes, it will be definitely a great gift to jailbreak community by Chronic Dev-Team.

THAT’S AWESOME ! I’ve been trying to update to iOS 7.1.2, because right now I’m on iOS 7.0.4. But since Apple has stopped signing iOS 7, I can’t update it using iTunes.
