Google Nexus S to Feature 4? Super AMOLED 2 Display & 720p Camera?

Someone at XDA-Developers got hold of some leaked photos of Google Nexus S running Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Though the pictures a not clear but still we can confirm that Gingerbread is the code name of Android 2.3, not Android 3.0. Moreover Google Nexus S has a thing curved shaped body featuring 4" Super Amoled 2 screen and a camera capable of recording 720p HD video.

Here are the leaked specs of Google Nexus S by a person who chooses to remain anonymous. These specs are quite similar to the leaked specs described by AndroidandMe and Gizmodo last month.

  • Armv7 CPU – Could be Dual Core
  • Open GL ES Supported
  • 512 or 328MB Ram (Not 100% known)
  • 1GB or 2GB Internal Memory (Not 100% known)
  • 800×480 Screen Resolution
  • 4" Screen Size
  • SuperAmoled2 – Possibly
  • 720P HD Video

For those who don't know, Samsung was about to announce Google Nexus S on November 8th when some unexpected hardware failure delayed the launch of Google Nexus S. There are also rumors that Nexus S was delayed due to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) as the new Android OS was not fully optimized for Dual Core processor. [via XDA-Developers]
