As confirmed in a press release today, Apple has just released iOS 4.2 final version for iPhone 4/3GS/3G, iPod Touch 4G/3G/2G & iPad (Wifi+3G). iOS 4.2 brings over 100 new features from iOS 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2 to iPad including AirPlay, AirPrint, Multitasking, Folders, Unified Inbox and Find My iPhone service.

iOS 4.2 AirPrint feature will allow you to print documents, emails, photos and web-pages over a Wifi connection with your Apple iOS device. In order to print any media from your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad, you must first configure AirPrint on your PC or Mac. However if you have HP ePrint enabled printer, you can directly print any media from your iDevice without any additional setup over local wireless networks.

With iOS 4.2 AirPlay feature, you will be able to stream music, photos and videos directly from your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to your Apple TV. With AirPort Express support you will be able to stream any media directly to the stereo or powered speakers around you.

Find My iPhone service which was previously available for MobileMe subscribers is now free. You can download Find My iPhone app for your iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad from App Store for free. Find My iPhone service allows you to locate your missing iDevice on a map and have it display a message or play a sound. You can also lock or wipe data from your lost device to protect your privacy.
Other features of iOS include: the ability to rent TV episodes directly to iPad, the ability to find and highlight a specific word on a web-page using native Safari browser, new device management capabilities and improved enterprise integration.
