Just a week ago, we shared some spectacular screenshots of VLC app for iPhone and now we are here with VLC for iPhone hands-on video. Applidium, the company behind VLC player, just submitted VLC app for iPhone to App Store for approval.
VLC Player for iPhone Hands-On:
As you can see from the above video, VLC for iPhone cannot play 720p (1280×720) HDTV videos on iPhone 4. Playing HD videos on iPhone 3GS is out of question. Moreover VLC for iPhone will NOT be available for iPhones 3G as the older iPhones don't have enough processing power to decode most of the movies. If Apple does approve VLC for iPhone, the app will be available sometime in next week. [via Applidium, via 9to5Mac]
