Samsung to Announce Google Nexus Two on November 8th?

If you are planning to buy an Android smartphone in the upcoming week, we would recommend you to wait for another week. According to folks at AndroidAndMe, Samsung will be unveiling Google Nexus Two on November 8th at a press conference in New York city. Samsung have already confirmed its media event on Nov 8th by sending out the invites to selected media personnel.

For those who don't know, Samsung scheduled a media event earlier this month but it was cancelled because the product they were about to unveil was not ready at that time. Now Google have placed a huge gingerbread mascot infront of their head-office at Mountain View, it seems that the delay in Android 2.3 Gingerbread development was the only reason that caused Samsung to cancel its first media event and reschedule it on Nov 8th.

So, if you are thinking that Samsung will be releasing Google Nexus Two bundled with Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), you could be very much right. Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) will be coming with a more unified interface, built-in video chat, support for WebM videos and WebP images, Google Voice calling over Wifi and a new 1280×760 resolution which will be available for devices with 4" or larger displays. Folks at XDA-Developers recently confirmed that the next version of Android (codename Gingerbread) will be 2.3 (NOT 3.0).
