MuscleNerd who happens to be a member of iPhone Dev-Team, confirmed iOS 4.1 jailbreak for iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G and iPad using new bootrom exploit which was found by pod2g, Chronic Dev-Team member who also found the very first bootrom exploit ever called 24kpwn.
Twitter update by MuscleNerd:
For those who don't know, recently pod2g found a new low-level bootrom based exploit which can be used to jailbreak iOS 4.1 on all iOS devices. Like 24kpwn exploit, Apple cannot patch this exploit using any software update, hence this bootrom exploit can be used to jailbreak iOS 4.1 on all current iOS devices. Stay tuned while iPhone Dev-Team releases a new tool which will make use of this new low-level bootrom based exploit.
