HP Slate Prototype Unboxing & Hands On Video Review

Here is another short video review of HP Slate prototype from the same guy who published the first leaked video of HP Slate prototype running Windows 7. Nearly all the specs printed at the back of box matches to the leaked specs published by Engadget in April this year.

The back of the HP Slate has bumpy texture and is made up to rubber like material. There is a 3 MP camera at the back of the tablet.

There are two speakers at the bottom along with the power slot.

The top covers home, volume and Ctrl+Alt+Delete button with a USB port in the middle.

The is an SD Card slot, headphone jack, keyboard and power button on the sides.

The dock contains two USB ports, HDMI port, power slot and a headphone jack.

Although the screen of the HP Slate is not that touch-sensitive as it should be but as it is a prototype, so the final release will be definitely coming with much more performance improvements. For those who don't know, HP-Slate will be featuring 1Ghz Atom processor with 8.9 inch multitouch screen and it will be fully capable of running Flash and Adobe AIR apps. According to the leaked prices, 32 GB model will be available for U.S. $549 and 64GB model will be available for U.S. $599.
