Apple just seeded iTunes 10.1 beta to developers along with iOS 4.2 beta 2 for all models of iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. This new beta of iTunes comes with a support to test the iOS 4.2 AirPrint feature which allows all iOS 4.2 devices to print any document wirelessly.
This is a pre-release version of iTunes 10.1 beta to support testing of printing from your iOS app. Be sure to backup your iTunes content prior to installing iTunes 10.1 beta.
As promised by Apple at Apple's Media Event 2010, iOS 4.2 final version will be available in November this year. The main features of iOS 4.2 include AirPrint, AirPlay and Multitasking on iPad. With AirPrint, you will be able to print documents wirelessly directly from your iOS device and with AirPlay, you can stream you will be able to stream videos and photos over Wifi along with the music.
iTunes 10.1 beta for Windows and Mac is available for developers only so that they can well prepare their apps to support the AirPrint feature of iOS 4.2. If you have a registered Apple Developer account, you can download it by signing into iPhone Dev Center.
