So after activating your iPhone with any phonebook SIM, you can switch ON your Wifi and navigate to http://www.jailbreakme.com/ to jailbreak it. If somehow this phonebook SIM is not available in any of the mobile phones shop near you, you can borrow your friend's official carrier SIM for sometime to bypass the lock screen.
