TinyUmbrella 4
For those who don't know FirmwareUmbrella is a tool which allows you to save your SHSH blobs so that your can downgrade and re-jailbreak your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad incase you unintentionally upgrade to future firmware releases by Apple. We have already shared our step by step procedure to save your iDevice's SHSH blobs using FirmwareUmbrella here.

TinyTSS is another useful tool created in JAVA that acts as your very own signature service. When you try to restore your iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 2G & 3G firmware to any older firmware then iTunes first confirms from Apple servers whether your iPhone or iPod is eligible for firmware downgrade or not. With TinyTSS and the SHSH blobs you obtained with FirmwareUmbrella, you will be able to restore to the version of those SHSH files forever! The only difference between TinyTSS and Saurik Server method is that TinyTSS allows you to save your SHSH blobs you obtained from FirmwareUmbrella on your local hard-disk while Saurik saves your SHSH blobs online!

Remember TinyUmbrella 4 is for iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 3G and iPod Touch 2G (MC Models). It allows you to save iOS 4 SHSH blobs regardless of you device is jailbroken or not. You can also save SHSH blobs of any previous firmware releases including iPhone OS 3.1.3 & iPhone OS 3.1.2. iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 3G(non-MC) models don't need to save their SHSH blobs. Usage of TinyUmbrella is simple. Just connect your iPhone with iTunes and start TinyUmbrella program. Click on "Save My SHSH" button. Thats it!
