Vanity Fair Magazine app is coming to iPad this June. The app will be available in App Store for $4.99, and future editions will be available for $3.99. The app has some interesting features like "Bells and Wishlists", which allow users to view the magazine in both horizontal and vertical modes and watch behind the scenes photo shoots, story/page navigation and bookmarking are few other prominent features of the app.
Vanity Fair Editor-in-Chief Graydon Carter said:
Magazines are actually pretty brilliant concepts the way they are, "At the same time, we have a few bells and whistles that a magazine cannot provide."
Application will also have special ads from advertisers, including Microsoft Bing, Aveeno and Clinique. Special ads will provide more advertisement flexibility to advertisers and publishers with some enhanced functionalities. To conclude, applications seems a nice addiction to iPad App store, but there isn't much difference between the app and web edition of magazine, so the developers certainly have to bring in some more features so users can spend $3.99 every month instead of accessing new issues on the magazine's website.
The June, 2010 edition of magazine is featuring "Emma Watson", so if you are Emma's fan, this is the right time to get hold of this app.Contact Us for News Tips, Corrections and Feedback
