Earlier this month, BGR found a reference to the new iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad in iPhone OS 3.2 SDK but this time the infamous iPhone hacker iH8sn0w have found some other clues for these devices in iPhone OS 4.0 who's beta version was released last week. According to the explanation by TUAW iPhone 1,1 refers to original iPhone, similarly iPhone 1,2 and iPhone 2,1 refers to iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS respectively. Where as iPhone 3,1, iPhone 3,2 and iPhone 3,3 probably refers to different versions(CDMA/GSM) of upcoming Next Generation iPhone 4G which will be released this summer at WWDC 2010.
As far as iProd is concerned, it can be iPad 3G or 2nd-Gen iPad? (TUAW already confirmed that iProd is the codename of iPad). iPhone OS 4.0 was released by Apple yesterday at iPhone 4.0 event which held at 1-Infinite loop campus in Cupertino. The main highlights of iPhone OS 4.0 include Multitasking, Game Center, Folder Feature and support for 5x Digital Zoom.Contact Us for News Tips, Corrections and Feedback
