Finally Dev-Team has released the Beta version of redsn0w 0.9.5 to jailbreak latest iPhone 4.0 OS, earlier they showed a video right after release of firmware 4.0 claiming iPhone 4.0 jailbreak. The Beta release is meant for 4.0 developers only, you will still need a registered UDID with Apple to get past the activated process. This version is for MAC only.

Please note that redsn0w 0.9.5 is only for jailbreaking iPhone 4.0, it will NOT unlock your device, so we recommend you to not upgrade your device to iPhone 4.0 if you want it unlocked, as upgrading to 4.0 OS will also upgrade your device baseband and currently there is not tool available to unlock iPhone 4.0 OS.
