While Google is supporting Adobe by giving internal Flash Player with every Dev version of Google Chrome, it seems that Google also want to keep its grip on new Apple tablet by releasing its HTML5 based Gmail app for iPad. Why HTML5 for Gmail app? Because Apple don’t support Flash apps on iPad and iPhone. Developers at Google took full advantage of the large screen of iPad by creating a two-pane HTML5 based Gmail app with your conversations on the left and messages on the right pane.
To use this app all you have to do is to navigate to Gmail.com from your iPad. iPad will be shipping with number of pre-installed Google apps. You will find Google search tab in the top right corner of Safari, YouTube app for iPad which will allow you to view HD videos with read and write support for comments, Google Maps app which will allow you to search for local businesses and get directions. Just like iPhone, you can go to iPad App Store and download Google Mobile App with search by voice. Google Mobile app was previously made for iPhone but now the optimized version of Mobile App has been released for iPad large screen.
