According to FoneHome, Namco have confirmed that they will be releasing Tekken, probably a scaled down version of Tekken 6 for iPhone in March 2010. Tekken is one of the earliest and most famous 3D arcade fighting games released in 1994. Namco have not specified that either they will be releasing classic version of Tekken or scaled down version of Tekken 6 but what they do have confirmed is that the game is in the final stages of its development. Capcom have released its much anticipated game Street Fighter IV at a Capcom Fight Club event.
As reported by FoneHome:
Namco hasn't told us any more about the game, and Tekken won't make an appearance at this week's Game Developers Conference either, so we'll have to keep on guessing for now. Will it be a port of the original? An iPhone version of the recent PSP edition of Tekken 6? Both are certainly feasible, but the latter would be more in-line with the standard set by Capcom.
Soon after Namco confirmed the release of Tekken in March 2010, Capcom have released its much anticipated game Street Fighter IV. The title features eight classic characters from the console version, including Ryu, Chun Li, Able, Blanka, M. Bison, Dhalsim, Guile and Ken and seven unique environments. Familiar move sets have not been left out, and veteran players will recognize many of the special moves, focus attacks, super combos and ultra combos. Newcomers to the series can get on the path to becoming a world warrior by completing the game's new "Dojo" mode which provides simple to advanced lessons on dominating the game. In addition to all that single player mode has to offer, players can also battle head-to-head in "Versus" mode via Bluetooth.
